How To Swap

Tutorial

1. Go to Swap page

   • Go to Swap page and connect your wallet.

2. Select tokens

   • Choose the Sell token and the Buy token.

   • If a token isn’t listed, paste the token contract address to search it.

3. Enter amount

   • Input the amount you want to swap (or select a preset percentage of your wallet balance).

   • Review the quoted output amount.

4. Review and adjust execution details

   • Review the following before confirming:

     • Price impact

     • Fees

     • Minimum received

     • Slippage tolerance

     • Transaction deadline

   • Slippage is optional to adjust. Use a higher slippage tolerance only when liquidity is thin or the market is volatile.

   • The deadline (default: 20 minutes) sets how long your swap can remain pending. If it expires, the transaction reverts.

   
5. Approve token (first time only)

   • If this is your first time swapping the From token, click Approve and confirm in your wallet.

6. Confirm swap

   • Click Swap / Confirm and approve the transaction in your wallet.

   
7. Track completion

   • Wait for confirmation.

   • You can open the transaction link in the explorer from the UI.

   • The received tokens will appear in your wallet after confirmation (import the token if needed).

Best Practices

• Set slippage intentionally:

  • Too low → higher revert rate in volatile markets.

  • Too high → greater chance of filling at a worse price.

  Think in terms of “worst acceptable execution.”

• Separate price impact from slippage:

  • High price impact = you’re consuming depth; consider splitting the trade

  • High slippage tolerance = you’re allowing worse execution; keep it minimal but practical.

• Verify token safety: Use verified token lists when possible. Double-check contract addresses to avoid lookalikes.
